Then 5 minutes later my baby Kaya woke up she is 3 months old right now. Any who, I wanted to know if you could contact me on my e-mail, you seem like a very beautiful woman who loves her child and expresses the same feelings as I do about my life aka God, my health and my baby/husband! I really didn't like reading until I read a book for the first time all by myself and then that did it! I was so proud of myself I read anything I could get my hands on. Axel may be the same way. It just takes that one little thing to get them going. Reading Rainbow. Seriously! I could not get enough books because of that show. I also LOVED going to little bookstores and sitting in for story time. Actually I was shy, so I'd hide behind a big picture book and listen in lol. My mom also got me into a library program where I earned stuff, little silly things like rings and stickers for each book I read. The zoo was huge for me wanting to learn about nature and animals. Nature programs were awesome too. Even the ones that were catered for adults, I couldn't understand all of it but I didn't care. Just watching the animals or hearing about science was cool. Anything that turned learning into a game, like missions where you go out and find as many of this kind of thing, or match items, treasure hunt, etc. Hands on experiences of how things work, etc. Good luck with Axel. I'm sure you'll find just what you need to peak his interest. You're so attuned to him you're going to do fine :-) You know I don’t have kids, but I remember being a kid and these things really made me LOVE learning.

I listened to a radio programme a few weeks back about people blogging and one man had to give it up as he was very exhausted and his family life was suffering. I don't blog myself but I do surf the internet almost every day. I think getting a balance is the key. Don't feel like you have to but when you do you are doing something great for yourself and for others. I'm chuffed I found your site a while back and was able to read lots of different things from like minded people. Myself and lots of others will keep following as and when you post :o) ps: your little boy is growing so fast - it is crazy how quickly it goes. My little boy is now 2 1/2 and my daughter is 4 1/2 and will be starting school this September - next it will be the teenage years - now I've heard they really are the challenging ones xx Take care xx The little ones do take up a lot of time throughout the day and before you know it 8pm is here.

But I've come to realize that while perfection isn't possible, it also isn't necessary. Just by showing up every day and doing your best, you're a great mom. That's it. That's all we have to do, and it sounds like you're doing that and more. I'm sure that Axel appreciates it, whether he can tell you so or not. I lack confidence, too. I completely understand. But I think you've touched people in positive ways even if you aren't sure. Your blog's readers attest to it. Will it ever feel like "enough"? I'm not sure. I hope that someday there will be a peace. Either it will descend or you will choose it. Either way, you'll know you've done a good job. Because it sounds like you have--you just need to grab the title! Sounds like you and I both needed to read Arwyn’s post on this subject. I completely understand. I think, especially with little ones, it's hard because they aren't able to articulate "you are doing an awesome job at raising me". YOU ARE an awesome momma! Ah yes, mommy guilt!
